| Same location, looking SW. You can see 3 of the 7 rivers that feed into the mouth of the Columbia. The Canoe is of the Chinook Indian Tribe. They actually took canoes just like this one across the Columbia. Go back and look at the picture with the bridge. This is a SERIOUS river with huge swells at times - 15-20 swells feet aren't uncommon. |
